Jean-Paul van Gastel appointed as new head coach of NAC Breda

Dutch professional football club NAC Breda has appointed Jean-Paul van Gastel as its new head coach. The 51-year-old former international will take over from Robert Molenaar, who left the club by mutual consent earlier this week.
Van Gastel, who has signed a two-year contract with NAC Breda, has a wealth of experience in Dutch football. He has previously managed Willem II, AZ Alkmaar, and FC Twente, and has also worked as an assistant coach for the Netherlands national team.
NAC Breda is currently 14th in the Dutch Eredivisie, and Van Gastel will be tasked with improving the team's fortunes. The club has not won a major trophy since 1973, and Van Gastel will be hoping to end that drought.
